Oppdalsmueet - Oppdal District Museum

Oppdal District Museum has a collection of approximately 4500 objects and around 30 venerable old buildings of every type found in the countryside. The first building in the collection was Bekkastuggu, from the 1600s, which is built in a special manner that exists only in Oppdal. The museum has a collection of old hunting gear and weapons from the 1700s, an exhibition of textiles, a telecommunications museum and a school exhibit. The skiing town of Oppdal naturally also has an exhibition displaying skiing equipment from the 1800s until today.
