Lislestog comprises a collection of 11 log houses and things that belonged to the painter Morten Henriksen. He came from Oslo. Together with his wife he used Lislestog as his summer residence. The houses are not organized in rows, which used to be a tradition in Setesdal. Among them you will find a traditional main house, a small storage house, a storehouse on pillars, a sauna, a mill and a smithy. The houses have been collected from different farms and summer farms in Bykle and Valle. The oldest houses originate from the 17th century.
