Prestegårdslåna Foundation in Melhus

The main house was built in the typical regional style called "lån" in the 1720s and 1744. It served as a vicarage until 1960, and was scheduled as an ancient monument in 1996. In 2002 the former vicarage was organized as an ideal foundation. The interior is from the 18th, 19th and 20th century. Guests may take part in guided tours in almost all rooms, with information about the history of the place, and about persons that have visited the vicarage, such as the author Anders Hovden and the religious leader Hans Nielsen Hauge.
