Råkvåg "Bryggerekke" (quayside buildings)

Råkvåg includes Norway's largest rural collection of herring quays. These waterfront buildings - a row of 11 large quays - date back to the second half of the 18th century and on to the decline of herring fisheries in the mid 20th century. There is a great deal of life and activity there during the summer. Easy access to the small-boat harbour.
