Tinn Museum

The museum was opened in 1933. In 1946 the museum was taken over by Tinn municipality. Tinn Museum is from 2004 a part of the regional museum of Eastern Telemark, directed by The Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum. The museum displays two exhibitions during the summer season; "Preindustrial Tinn" with collections of lithographies, photos and paintings from the 19th century, and "Through the photographer's lens" with photos from Tinn during the period 1903-1910. The exhibitions also comprise a collection of old coins.
