Tveite Farmstead

Tveitetunet is a well-preserved district official's farmstead that was once the property of Olav Knutsson Tveiten, member of the Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll 1814. The main farmhouse dating from the 16th century is the oldest building on the farm. The farm includes a loft, a prison and the stone ruins of a tribunal. The idyllic surroundings are a unique setting for the exhibition of art and handicrafts from Setesdal that is arranged here each summer by Valleutstillinga. Demonstrations of various crafts are occasionally organized.
