Rock Carvings at Tro

At Tro there is a nearly 4000-year old rock carving, from the late Stone Age, showing the "first" skier in Norway. This rock carving provided the inspiration for the pictograms that served as the symbols of the 1994 Winter Olympic Games at Lillehammer. On the rocks facing southeast you can see nine other figures depicting whales, moose, seals and boats.
