Glomdal District Museum


Glomdal Museum is a cultural heritage museum for Østerdalen and Solør. Indoor exhibitions on medical history, folk art, gipsies ("tatere"), aprons. New exhibition 2004: War history. The museum is the 3rd biggest of its kind in Norway with a total of 90 buildings. Animals of old stocks graze on the museum grounds. Petershagen Kro serves traditional dishes. Leketunet is a cultural heritage playground for children. Guided tours are included in the entrance fee. The tickets also give admittance to Norsk Skogmuseum the same day.
