Nore and Uvdal District Museum

Share

Nore and Uvdal District Museum is built on the site of the old vicarage in connection to Uvdal Stave Church. Here you can find the old Prestegardsburet from 1764 and the granary "Opdals magasinhus" - a "self-support bank" from 1849. In the old school house (probably from the late 1700s), which has also been used as a community house and a dwelling house for the vicar there are exhibitions where you can also buy things, and have a cup of coffee, waffles etc. On the premises there are also other buildings, among them a mountain hut and a barn.
