Spiterstulen Tourist Cabin

Share

Spiterstulen is located 3600 feet above sea level, at the tree line in the sheltered and verdant Visdalen Valley. Here you will find a rich flora, babbling brooks, overgrown ancient trapping pits and legend-soaked dairy pastures that invite you to wander, with slopes that are a playground for the children. Spiterstulen was originally the mountain dairying area for the Sulheim family farm, which was first developed for guests in 1836. During six generations the place has been extended and modernised. But the old style has been preserved, with several large and small buildings in a courtyard. Daily tours with guides.
