Os Museum - Oddentunet

Oddentunet is a well-preserved farm. The early-19th-century main building is influenced by the urban architecture of the Trondheim region, with an additional panelled Østerdalen-style house with a characteristic doorway and window frames. The decorative carpentry, as well as some of the furniture, was made by the craftsman "Høs-Lars". Richly decorated inside in 1822 and 1826 by Sønvis O. Holemoen and Ole A Beitdokken. The farm was lived in until 1967, when it housed the local post office. It was listed as a preserved building in 1924.
